Service line - Position Title: SAP PP/QM Senior TechOps (Application Management) Consultant

We are looking for an SAP PP/QM Senior Consultant to join the EY GDS Team. As part of our EY GDS TechOps team, you will be responsible for providing functional support for SAP production planning and execution across various regions for our global clients. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to address issues, implement enhancements, and optimize design to meet business requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.

Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

- Bachelor's degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.




- 3-7 Years of experience required in one or more areas within SAP Production Planning preferably with Global client
- Responsible for providing support for SAP PP module incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support incident solving by analysing incidents raised by users and provides solutions.
- Working closely with customers and teams to ensure issues and requests are followed up and addressed timely.
- Handle change requests with a clear understanding of recent business requirements.
- Understand business needs and deliver solutions to make processes more efficient and simpler whenever possible.
- Cross-functional communication skills; experience in offshore/onshore model.
- Defect resolution and defect analysis related to PP.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross functional team environment.
- Flexibility in managing work hours due to the volatile nature of Application Management work including ability to do shifts and being on call for critical business requirements

Ideally, you ll also have:

- Well versed with production process including Discrete and Process Production: Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centres, Routings, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control and Demand Management.




- Experience in PP integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, QM and PM.
- Experience with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Exposure to standard integration protocols and interfaces (e.g., SAP MII, SAP ME) used to connect SAP ERP with MES
- SAP Certification in SAP PP
- User Training Experience
- Experience in data migration (LSMW, SAP DS, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit) and SAP upgrade projects.

What you will do:

- Provide day to day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management as Level 2 or 3 Application Management Specialist
- Lead and Coordinate the Resolution of Complex Technical issues and System Outages including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs and provide advice on SAP PP solutions and designs.
- Develop and maintain documentation including configuration, user guides and test scripts.
- Mentor and train junior SAP PP Team Members, sharing best practices and providing guidance on issues and troubleshooting techniques.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and SAP best practices to drive operational efficiency through automation, applied AI tools and innovation
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide off hours support as needed to ensure the availability and reliability of critical SAP systems.
