Manager/Senior Manager (Contract Arbitration - Civil & expressway infrastructure). The proposed candidates should preferably be young professionals with 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in highway and expressway infrastructure projects. Their expertise should include contract administration, contractual claims, arbitration support, techno-legal documentation, and dispute resolution under PPP/BOT/EPC contract frameworks. Contract Claims & Arbitration professionals with extensive experience in highway and expressway concession projects, specialising in contract management, claim identification and preparation, contractual interpretation, arbitration support, dispute resolution, and techno-legal documentation. They should possess sound knowledge of PPP/BOT/EPC contracts, Change of Scope provisions, Extension of Time (EOT) and prolongation claims, delay and disruption analysis, contractual risk management, and statutory compliance, while effectively coordinating with engineers, consultants, legal counsel, financial experts, and government authorities to safeguard the Company's contractual rights and maximise claim entitlements.

Key Responsibilities

A. Contract Review & Risk Management

- Review EPC, FIDIC, CPWD, and NHAI civil contracts for arbitration clauses, claim provisions, EOT, LD, variation orders

- Identify contractual risks during bidding and project execution phase

- B. Claims & Dispute Handling





- Prepare and defend claims: Time overrun, cost escalation, variation, idle charges, force majeure

- Collect and compile documentary evidence: Site records, RA bills, BOQ, drawings, correspondence, site hindrance register, labour/material escalation data

- Draft "Statement of Claim", "Statement of Defence", "Rejoinder", Affidavits

C. Arbitration Proceedings

- Represent company in arbitration hearings before Sole Arbitrator / 3-member tribunal

- Coordinate with external counsel and technical experts

- Appear for site inspections, witness examination if required

- Track notices, hearing dates, interim orders, and final awards

- Ensure compliance with the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996 and institutional rules - ICA, DIAC, MCIA

D. Quantification & Commercials

- Calculate claim amounts: Delay damages, prolongation cost, interest, escalation

- Work with planning, finance, and site teams to validate claim data

Required Qualifications

- B.E/B. Tech Civil + LLB preferred.

- OR LLB/LLM with robust civil construction exposure

- Diploma/Certification in Arbitration is a plus.
