Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments to ensure high availability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Install, configure, and manage Microsoft IIS Web Server for website hosting, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux Web Servers (Apache/Nginx), including website hosting and server management.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain websites, SSL certificates, DNS records, and domain configurations.
- Configure, manage, and maintain Sophos Firewall, VPN connectivity, firewall rules, and network security policies.
- Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, Wi-Fi networks, switches, routers, DNS, DHCP, and internet connectivity to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Monitor server health, performance, storage utilization, backups, uptime, and disaster recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server, IIS, Linux Web Server, website, network, firewall, and end-user technical issues.
- Perform operating system installation, software deployment, system upgrades, security patching, and preventive maintenance.




- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, IP phones, and other IT hardware.
- Handle day-to-day IT infrastructure operations and ensure the smooth functioning of office IT systems.
- Manage IT assets, inventory, software licenses, hardware lifecycle, and warranty/AMC records.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding by configuring systems, email accounts, user access, and required IT resources.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), hardware vendors, and third-party service providers for issue resolution and infrastructure maintenance.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Positive communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Experience in handling both enterprise IT infrastructure and office IT operations.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup solutions, or cybersecurity best practices will be an added advantage.
