Job Summary

The EV Center Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing a state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Center. The role involves ensuring smooth center operations, driving student mobilization and admissions, maintaining training quality, building industry partnerships, and achieving enrollment and placement targets.

The Center Manager will coordinate with internal teams, trainers, industry partners, and local stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of EV skilling programs.

Objectives

- Establish and operate the EV Training Center efficiently.
- Achieve admission, training, certification, and placement targets.
- Ensure high-quality delivery of EV training programs.
- Develop partnerships with EV companies, dealerships, OEMs, service centers, and industry stakeholders.
- Maintain operational excellence and compliance with organizational standards.

Major Deliverables

Center Operations

- Manage day-to-day operations of the EV Training Center.
- Ensure infrastructure, training labs, tools, and equipment are well maintained.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and center administration.
- Prepare quarterly operational plans and budgets.

Mobilization & Admissions

- Develop and execute student mobilization strategies.
- Build relationships with colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, engineering institutions, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Conduct awareness campaigns, career guidance sessions,



and admission drives.
- Achieve monthly admission targets.

Training Management

- Ensure quality delivery of EV training programs.
- Monitor trainer performance and provide coaching where required.
- Ensure training follows approved curriculum and industry standards.
- Coordinate assessments, certifications, and practical training.

Industry & Placement

- Build partnerships with:
- EV Manufacturers (OEMs)
- EV Dealerships
- Charging Infrastructure Companies
- Battery Manufacturers
- Service Centers
- Fleet Operators

- Facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and placement opportunities.
- Track placement performance and maintain employer relationships.

Administration & MIS

- Maintain accurate student records and MIS.
- Ensure timely reporting on admissions, attendance, training, certifications, placements, and center performance.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and audit requirements.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor Trainers, Community Mobilizers, Placement Coordinators, and Center Associates.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of center staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive admissions and center occupancy.




- Ensure effective student counseling and enrollment.
- Maintain excellent training quality.
- Achieve placement targets.
- Build robust industry partnerships.
- Monitor center budget and operational expenses.
- Maintain training equipment and EV lab infrastructure.
- Ensure student satisfaction and timely grievance resolution.
- Submit weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Represent the organization at industry and community events.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Automobile/EV) or MBA.
- Certification in Electric Vehicle Technology is an added advantage.

Experience

- 4–7 years of overall experience.
- Minimum 2 years managing a training center, skilling center, educational institution, or EV training operations.
- Experience in admissions, mobilization, placements, and team management is preferred.
- Experience working with Skill India, NSDC, CSR, or vocational training programs is an added advantage.
