Job Overview

In this crucial role, you will ensure the smooth and productive import of materials and components needed for the production of our EV chargers. You will be responsible for navigating customs regulations, managing import documentation, and collaborating with international suppliers and freight forwarders.

Responsibilities

- Classify imported materials and components according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes or HSN codes.
- Prepare and manage import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
- Negotiate and manage international freight forwarding contracts.
- Track import shipments and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor import costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Stay informed of changes in import regulations and compliance requirements.




- Work collaboratively with purchasing, logistics, and engineering teams
