Job Description: HIMP Unit Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and energetic HIMP (Highway Information Management

Platform/Project) Unit Lead to oversee and drive our platform operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless integration, operation, and management of core infrastructure technology systems, including PMIS, RAMS, BIM, and GIS. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex technical infrastructure and strategic project management, leading a high-performing operations team to ensure data-driven decision-making and optimal platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & System Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and scaling of PMIS (Project

Management Information System), RAMS (Road Asset Management System), BIM (Building Information Modeling), and GIS (Geographic Information System) platforms.

- Ensure high data integrity, system availability, and seamless cross-platform data integration for infrastructure projects.
- Implement best practices for asset tracking, lifecycle management, and spatial data analysis.

Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional platform operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-efficiency work culture.
- Define KPIs, performance metrics, and operational workflows for the technical and support teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting





- Act as the primary technical point of contact for project stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
- Translate complex system data into actionable insights, dashboards, and reports for highway planning, construction, and maintenance phases.
- Coordinate with external vendors, software providers, and IT infrastructure teams for system updates and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), or an equivalent technical field; OR
- MCA (Master of Computer Applications); OR
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a strong technical background.
- Note: All degrees must be from an AICTE/NAAC recognized institution.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of core experience in managing and operating PMIS, RAMS, BIM, and GIS systems within the infrastructure, highways, or large-scale construction sectors.
- Proven track record of managing platform operations teams (highly preferred).

Technical & Soft Skills

- Deep understanding of spatial databases, asset management workflows, and 3D modeling/information systems.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical architecture concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
