Role & responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day plant operations across Cold Forging, Heat Treatment, Machining, Surface Coating and Assembly/Packaging.
- Deliver production targets while meeting customer requirements for Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
- Maximize plant capacity, OEE and productivity through Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Drive reduction in rejection, rework, customer complaints and manufacturing costs.
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Plan manpower, materials and machine capacity to achieve production schedules.
- Establish robust process controls to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with automotive standards.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, SCM, Tool Room,



Engineering and Customer teams to resolve operational issues and support new product development.
- Lead Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, Root Cause Analysis and other operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental and statutory requirements while promoting a solid safety culture.
- Develop and mentor departmental heads and build a high-performance manufacturing team.
- Monitor and report plant performance through KPIs including Productivity, OEE, PPM, COPQ, On-Time Delivery, Inventory, Energy Consumption and Employee Safety.
