The Consultant Statutory Audit will be responsible for assisting in execution of statutory audit engagements, preparation of audit documentation, financial statement review, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute statutory audit assignments for clients across industries
- Perform audit procedures including:
- Vouching and verification
- Substantive testing
- Analytical review procedures
- Ledger scrutiny
- Prepare and maintain audit working papers
- Assist in financial statement review and audit finalization
- Ensure compliance with:
- Companies Act, 2013
- Accounting Standards / Ind AS
- Standards on Auditing (SAs)
- Support in:
- CARO reporting
- Internal Financial Controls (IFC)
- Audit documentation and reporting
- Coordinate with clients for audit queries and information requirements
- Identify audit observations and escalate issues to seniors/managers
