Role Description As a Junior Interior Designer at The Plot Studio, you will support the design team through concept development, space planning, and preparation of design presentations. You will assist in producing construction drawings, layouts, and detailed documentation under the guidance of senior designers and architects. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and organizing FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing mood boards and material palettes, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining project files. You will participate in site visits,



measurements, and inspections to ensure design intent is executed accurately. This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular collaboration with team members, consultants, and clients.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional layouts and support overall design concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills related to FF&E; to support sourcing, specification, and organization of furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with design intent.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field are beneficial.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), along with basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and building standards, is preferred.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, ability to follow design direction, and readiness to work on-site in Mumbai within a collaborative studio environment are important.
