- 8+ years of Oracle NetSuite functional experience.

Position Overview
We are seeking a senior Oracle NetSuite Functional SME and Implementation Lead to lead a new, end-to-end NetSuite implementation. This individual will serve as the primary functional point of contact and collaborate closely with business users, accounting and finance leaders, the Oracle NetSuite product team, the System Integrator (SI), and other project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience implementing and migrating to Oracle NetSuite across Core Financials, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Project Management and Project Accounting. The consultant will evaluate business requirements, recommend the appropriate NetSuite modules, support module provisioning, lead functional design and configuration, and manage the implementation through production go-live.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery workshops with finance, procurement, sales, project-management, construction and executive stakeholders to document current processes, business requirements, pain points and future-state objectives.
- Perform current-state and future-state process analysis, fit-gap assessments and solution design across NetSuite Core Financials, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, P2P, O2C, Project Management and Project Accounting.
- Serve as the primary functional SME and coordinate activities among business stakeholders, the Oracle NetSuite product team, the System Integrator, technical teams and implementation partners.
- Evaluate available NetSuite modules and SuiteApps, recommend the appropriate solution footprint, and coordinate module licensing, provisioning, activation and environment readiness with Oracle NetSuite.




- Configure NetSuite functional setups, including chart of accounts, accounting calendars, subsidiaries, legal entities, business units, departments, locations, customers, suppliers, tax structures, approval workflows, payment processes and financial controls.
- Design NetSuite processes for Indian business requirements, including GST, TDS, tax reporting, statutory compliance, invoicing, vendor payments and financial reporting.
- Lead the implementation of P2P processes, including procurement requests, purchase orders, receipts, vendor invoices, three-way matching, approvals, payments and supplier management.
- Lead O2C configuration covering customer management, quotations, sales orders, billing, collections, receipts, revenue processing and accounting.
- Design and implement Project Management and Project Accounting processes for construction projects, including project budgets, contracts, procurement, costs, billing, revenue, capitalization and project profitability reporting.
- Lead legacy-system data conversion activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation and migration of suppliers, customers, projects, chart of accounts, open AP/AR transactions, assets and opening balances.
- Prepare functional requirement documents, solution-design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, user guides and training materials.
- Provide functional requirements for integrations, custom workflows, reports, dashboards, saved searches, SuiteApps and other NetSuite customizations.
- Plan and lead Conference Room Pilots, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and end-user training; track defects and coordinate their resolution.
- Develop the production cutover plan, manage readiness activities, support go-live and provide post-production stabilization support.
- Evaluate the NetSuite mobile application and mobile/tablet enablement options to support executives, project managers, site personnel, approvers and other field users.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial, procurement, billing, project-accounting and construction-management processes using NetSuite capabilities.

Required Qualifications

1.



Extensive hands-on functional experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP.
2. Proven experience leading at least one brand-new, end-to-end NetSuite implementation or major ERP-to-NetSuite migration.
3. Strong functional expertise across Core Financials, P2P, O2C, Project Management and Project Accounting.
4. Hands-on experience configuring NetSuite financial modules, workflows, approval hierarchies, roles, dashboards, reports and saved searches.
5. Experience conducting discovery sessions, fit-gap analysis, module evaluation, functional configuration, testing, data conversion and production cutover.
6. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and month-end and year-end closing processes.
7. Experience working directly with Oracle NetSuite, System Integrators, technical teams, senior leadership and business stakeholders.
8. Excellent communication, documentation, presentation and project-leadership skills.
9. Ability to work from the Hyderabad Financial District office three days per week during the initial implementation phase.

Nice to have (Preferred)

- Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA in Finance, or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Indian GST, TDS, statutory accounting and regulatory-reporting requirements.
- Oracle NetSuite certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience implementing NetSuite for a construction, real-estate, engineering, infrastructure or project-based organization.
- Knowledge of construction-specific processes, including project budgeting, subcontractor management, site procurement, progress billing, retention, project costing and profitability reporting.
- Experience evaluating and implementing NetSuite SuiteApps, mobile applications, tablet-based approvals and field-user solutions.
- Understanding of NetSuite integrations, SuiteCloud, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, REST/SOAP services and data-migration tools is an advantage; however, this position is primarily functional.

Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a hands-on NetSuite functional leader who can understand accounting and operational requirements, challenge inefficient processes, recommend practical solutions and take ownership of the implementation from discovery through production stabilization. This is not a coordination-only role; the consultant must be capable of making functional decisions, configuring NetSuite and leading business stakeholders through organizational and process change.
