Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, in office position based in Kochi. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports. The Junior Accountant will help with bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and documentation required for audits and tax filings. The individual will coordinate with senior team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies,



and may support client engagements with data compilation and basic financial analysis.
Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including journal entries, ledgers, and basic financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to handle data entry, spreadsheets, and reconciliations accurately.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and interact with clients in a professional manner.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks under guidance from senior professionals.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or holding a professional qualification (CA Inter or equivalent) is an advantage.
Interest in assurance, tax, and consulting services, with a willingness to learn and grow within a professional services environment.
