Job Description Role Purpose Statement
n This position is responsible to execute shipments/vessels and ensure flawless execution of commodity trade contracts, which services the Asia Pacific Oils Execution/operations for Bunge. This is an Individual contributor role with an added responsibility of controlling product Specific Execution, Position File with commercial & appointment of Surveyor /Shipping agents .
n Main Accountabilities:
n n Follow-up and gather information on shipment to be executed - vessel selection and confirmation from the Business Team
n Perform vessel screening to ensure compliance as per Bunge Global guidelines – Review of reports, Check availability of vessel charter party agreement, vessel certificates and others
n Gather information on contracts nominated on the vessel to be executed from the Business Team
n Update vessel nomination details to Sellers and Buyers (counterparties)
n Follow-up and get conformance on vessel nomination from counterparties
n Update and maintain vessel master status files
n Create contract vessel and parcel in SAP system, and Nominate purchase/sales contracts in SAP system
n Timely execute & settle purchase/sales contracts in SAP system
n Receive freight and purchase invoices from sellers and forward it to co-workers (Finance team) for payments processing
n Negotiate Letters of Credit and Prepare shipping documents
n Prepare and issue cargo stowage plans for CDSBO vessels to India. Aligned with commercial to maximize the intake.
n Finalize the Surveyor & Shipping agents to be appointed on CDSBO vessels and Monitor their Service delivery.
n Provide guidance and inputs to co-workers (Documents team)



on documents to be prepared for vessel execution for submission to internal and external stakeholders
n n Additional responsibilities:
n n Resolve execution related queries for the team & self within defined timelines
n Provide reports and run queries to assist the Finance Team in period end closing process
n Identify ideas for process improvement utilizing industry leading practices
n Handle exceptions generated, perform root cause analysis to resolve current issues and act proactively to avert potential issues in future
n Provide all information, documents and reports for audit. Post the audit; take steps as per corrective action plan drafted by the Team Leader.
n n Impact/Dimensions
n Responsible to unlock the business value linked to the commodity contract by flawless execution of at-least 40 + vessels of around 20 Billion USD. Ensure Execution team is complying with SOX & Audit requirements under CON-0303, 08 & 09.
n Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
n n Timeline of completion of Execution Life Cycle (From BL date to Presentation Date). Baseline for best in Class TAT is 5 Days.
n Control of Payment Collections from Buyer (Within Contractual Payment Deadline

n This is an Individual contributor role and Management/Leadership skills are not mandated for this role. However this role is to be developed as a 2 Tier within 2-3 years to replace the Team Lead Trade Execution. IDP's should be assigned after confirmation on this particular role.
n Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces:
n This is a role that interacts with trading, freight, execution, controlling, accounting, finance desks of Bunge Asia Region.
n Knowledge and Technical Competencies:
n n Relevant experience in handling bulk, break-bulk and container shipments of Agri-commodities, with good knowledge of GAFTA and NAEGA contracts' rules.
n Good knowledge of concepts and procedures related to shipment of trade commodities and related terms & guidelines, including expertise in Letters of credit and shipping documents
n Robust written & oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of European languages added advantage
n Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
n Experience in working with SAP system (Added Advantage)
n n Education/Experience
n n 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role (Agri commodities Trade Execution or Agri commodities Shipment Execution)
n Minimum Education Qualification – Graduation. Post-graduation would be an advantage.
n MISC or CDCS (Added Advantage)
