We are looking for an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize integrations across the Workday ecosystem and external applications. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with hands-on expertise in Workday Integration, Workday Studio, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).

You will work on complex integration requirements, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, and ensure reliable data exchange between Workday and third-party systems. The role requires strong integration development skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and the confidence to work independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex Workday integrations.
- Build and enhance integrations using Workday Studio and EIB.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external applications.
- Work with Workday Core Connectors, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
- Configure and maintain integration systems while ensuring data accuracy, security, and reliability.
- Develop transformation logic, mappings, validations, error handling, and integration workflows.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and production validation.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot failures, data issues, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, finance, IT,



and other stakeholders to resolve integration-related challenges.
- Support integration deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and support procedures.
- Follow integration development standards, security practices, and change-management processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve integration performance, automation, scalability, and maintainability.

What Makes You a Great Fit
- 7+ years of experience in Workday integration development or a closely related role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Workday Studio and EIB.
- Experience developing and supporting complex Workday integrations in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Workday integration architecture, data flows, business processes, and security concepts.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, APIs, web services, and data transformation.
- Knowledge of Workday Core Connectors and related integration tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve integration failures efficiently.
- Experience across the complete integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through deployment and production support.
- Robust understanding of integration testing, error handling, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple integration projects, and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to recommend scalable and efficient integration solutions.
