Guardian Capital Investment Advisors is hiring an HR Intern to join our Human Resources team! This is a great opportunity to get hands-on exposure across HR Operations, Hiring & Recruitment, and HR Projects at a fast-growing wealth and asset management firm.

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR function end-to-end — from documentation and onboarding to sourcing and process improvement. You'll work closely with the HR team and get real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

HR Operations

- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and trackers

- Support onboarding/offboarding formalities and induction scheduling

- Assist in preparing offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment documentation

- Track attendance, leave, and probation/confirmation timelines

- Support HR audits and compliance documentation

Hiring & Recruitment

- Source candidates via job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases

- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates against role requirements

- Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers

- Draft and post job descriptions

- Maintain the recruitment tracker and candidate pipeline

HR Projects

- Support HR infrastructure initiatives (JD standardisation, compensation structuring, policy documentation)

- Assist with rollout/testing of HR systems

- Contribute to process improvement initiatives

- Own small projects end-to-end with guidance from the HR team

Requirements:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR,



Business Administration, Psychology, or related field

- Robust written and verbal communication skills

- Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets)

- Detail-oriented and comfortable handling confidential information

- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines

- Prior HR/recruitment internship exposure is a plus, not mandatory
