Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Civil and Structural Design in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The role requires skilled and motivated professionals capable of supporting civil and structural engineering design activities, preparing engineering drawings, performing structural analysis, and ensuring designs comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures according to project requirements.

- Prepare civil and structural engineering calculations, drawings, layouts, and design documentation.

- Develop structural models and analyze loads, forces, stresses, and structural behavior.

- Prepare and review detailed drawings using relevant CAD and structural design software.

- Design structural components including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and steel members.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian Standards, engineering codes, and project specifications.

- Coordinate design information with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and project teams.

- Review drawings and calculations for technical accuracy, constructability, and design consistency.

Required Skills

Structural Analysis: Ability to analyze structural systems, loads, forces, and structural behavior.

2. RCC Design: Knowledge of reinforced concrete member and foundation design.

3. Steel Structure Design: Understanding of structural steel members, connections, and design principles.

4. AutoCAD: Ability to prepare and review detailed civil and structural engineering drawings.

5. STAAD.Pro / Structural Design Software: Ability to model, analyze, and design structural systems using engineering software.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with BIM or Revit Structure workflows.

- Knowledge of relevant IS codes and engineering standards.

- Experience coordinating structural designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Work Experience Requirements

Typical requirement: 3–7 years of relevant civil/structural design experience. Candidates would typically have experience in structural analysis, RCC/steel design, engineering drawings, and design coordination for construction or engineering projects.

Education

Minimum: Typical qualification — B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Preferred: M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering
Additional: Relevant structural design/CAD/BIM certifications are advantageous.
