Job Description – Accounts Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of invoicing, ledger management, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. Candidates with prior experience in the Logistics/Transportation industry will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and process customer and vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Maintain and reconcile customer, vendor, and general ledgers.
- Perform bank, customer, and vendor account reconciliations.
- Record daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.




- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve account-related queries.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance activities.
- Support internal and external audits as required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong hands-on experience in invoicing, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in any Accounting ERP and MS Excel.
- Valuable understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in the Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain industry will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
