URGENT HIRING – HOME CARE / PALLIATIVE NURSES

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position: Hospital Palliative Nurse / Home Care Nurse

Job Responsibilities

- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes according to individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per physician’s instructions.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Provide care and support to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or chronic conditions.
- Regularly assess patients’ physical and mental health status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing notes, charts, and patient care records.
- Report any significant changes in the patient’s condition promptly to physicians or nursing supervisors.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using electronic or manual systems.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medication, self-care, and safety practices.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and appropriate lifestyle modifications.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, physiotherapists,



and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with family members and caregivers.
- Participate in care planning, follow-up, and continuity-of-care activities.
- Strictly follow hygiene, infection-control, and patient-safety protocols in the home-care environment.
- Ensure the safe use, handling, and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
- Educate family members and caregivers on infection prevention and home safety.
- Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including respiratory distress and cardiac arrest.
- Provide first aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) when required and arrange emergency medical assistance when necessary.

Qualification

GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
- Candidates from any nursing department/specialty may apply.
- Relevant clinical/home-care/palliative-care experience will be an advantage.
- Candidates must meet the applicable UAE licensing and employer requirements.

Salary & Perks

Salary: 1.30 – 1.40 Lakhs per month
