Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Tricentis Tosca and SAP test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining automation frameworks for SAP applications while ensuring adherence to Tricentis standards and automation best practices.

The candidate should possess strong expertise in Tosca DEX, Test Data Management (TDM), SAP Fiori Automation, LiveCompare, and SAP migration testing, particularly SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations. This role requires hands-on experience across multiple SAP modules, automation framework development, test impact analysis, release readiness assessments, and mentoring teams on automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable automation assets.
- Configure and manage Tricentis Tosca Server and Client components on Microsoft Windows environments.
- Develop custom controls, reusable components, and integrations within Tosca as required.
- Create and execute automated regression, functional, and end-to-end test suites.

Tosca Automation

- Work extensively with Tosca Modules, TestCases, TestSheets, ExecutionLists, DEX, TDM, API Testing, and Test Data Services (TDS).
- Handle all Tosca components effectively and independently.
- Review existing automation scripts, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Implement automation best practices including naming conventions, folder structures, modular design, and reusable components.
- Perform test execution, reporting, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.

SAP Testing & Migration Projects

- Develop and execute automation solutions for SAP applications and business processes.
- Work across SAP landscapes and enterprise SAP environments.
- Support SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation projects.
- Perform automation testing for SAP Fiori applications.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across SAP releases and upgrades.

LiveCompare & Impact Analysis

- Perform impact analysis for SAP changes and releases using LiveCompare.
- Identify test coverage, gaps, and risk areas for SAP updates.
- Create test plans, requirements, and execution strategies using Tosca and/or qTest integrated with LiveCompare.
- Audit test results and assess release readiness.
- Support release management decisions through risk-based testing approaches.

Test Data & Integration Management

- Create and manage test data using Tosca Test Data Service (TDS) and related integrations.
- Utilize Tosca API Testing capabilities and SQL/database modules for test preparation and validation.
- Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive automation coverage.

Process Improvement & Leadership

- Provide automation effort estimations and feasibility assessments.
- Help mature internal automation processes and standards.
- Share technical expertise, mentor team members, and drive automation excellence initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement through automation best practices and governance.
