Title: Estimator Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiringexperience and knowledge of standard concepts within project controls for the preliminary ordefinitive estimates for projects. Calculates estimates by using processes, labor availability andproductivity, and material prices based on historical data. Tabulates cost studies, cash flows, andprospect analysis. Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standardprocedures while developing advanced skills. Skills required for this job are typically acquiredthrough the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent workexperience in lieu of degree.
