**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly motivated Member of Technical Staff (MTS-2) with 2+ years of software development experience to join our API Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable cloud-based services and APIs. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions using REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, AWS cloud technologies, and modern software development practices. This role is ideal for engineers with a strong coding foundation, a passion for distributed systems, and a desire to grow expertise in cloud-native application development. **Key Responsibilities** · Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python. · Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs that support customer-facing and internal applications. · Participate in feature design discussions and contribute to technical solutions for product requirements. · Build and deploy cloud-native applications and services using AWS technologies. · Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following engineering best practices. · Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and customer-reported issues. · Collaborate with Product Management, QA, UX, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality features. · Participate in code reviews and continuously improve software quality, reliability, and performance. · Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and development productivity initiatives. · Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, services, and design decisions. · Support Agile development processes using Jira and source code management using Bitbucket. **Job Requirements** **Required Qualifications** · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. · 2+ years of software development experience. · Strong programming skills in Node.js and Python.
