Role Description The VLSI Faculty Member at SilicaLaunch will deliver classroom lectures, lab sessions, and workshops on core VLSI and semiconductor topics to students and working professionals.
Responsibilities include designing and updating course content, preparing teaching materials, and integrating practical projects and case studies into the curriculum. The role involves mentoring learners, clarifying technical concepts, reviewing assignments, and providing constructive feedback to support their career goals.
The faculty member will collaborate with other instructors to keep the curriculum aligned with industry trends and may participate in seminars, webinars, and internal training initiatives.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of VLSI fundamentals, including ASIC Design Flow and core semiconductor concepts.
Experience with Physical Design, Physical Verification, and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
Familiarity with IR Drop (EMIR) analysis and related power integrity methodologies.
Proficiency in scripting and automation, preferably TCL or similar languages used in EDA tools.
Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in VLSI or related domains, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools and practical project implementation in design or verification.
Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric approach.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a closely related discipline; relevant industry experience is highly valued.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with semiconductor technology trends and best practices.
