Role Description The Visual Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for presenting AVR Swarnamahal’s jewelry collections in a way that enhances customer engagement and supports sales. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing window displays, arranging in-store product presentations, and maintaining visual standards that reflect the brand’s identity and luxury positioning.

The role involves collaborating with store management and sales teams to align visual merchandising with promotions, campaigns, and seasonal themes.

The Visual

Merchandiser monitors customer response to displays,



adjusts layouts based on feedback and performance, and ensures all visual materials are clean, well-lit, and compliant with company guidelines. This position also requires regular reporting on merchandising effectiveness and suggestions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with store, sales, and management teams.
- Experience in retail environments and familiarity with luxury or jewelry merchandising practices.
- Customer service and sales skills to understand shopper behavior and support commercial objectives.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining impactful window displays and in-store visual layouts.
- Good aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and understanding of color, lighting, and design principles.
- Ability to work in office in Chennai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience as a visual merchandiser or in a related role; jewelry or fashion sector experience is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in design, visual merchandising, fashion, or a related field preferred.
