Role Description The Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chirwa, responsible for planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality video content for various projects, including UGC videos, podcasts, short films, and music productions. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating cameras, lights, and audio equipment, capturing footage according to creative briefs, and collaborating with directors, producers, and editors to ensure the desired visual style and narrative.

The role involves coordinating shoots, managing equipment, maintaining organized files, and supporting post-production with basic editing and media preparation as needed.



The Videographer is expected to follow production timelines, adhere to safety and quality standards, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the visual output of QPic Productions.

Qualifications

- Strong video production skills, including planning shoots, executing visual concepts, and managing on-set workflows.
- Proficiency in camera operation and handling different types of cameras for studio and location shoots.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques and practical experience setting up and adjusting lighting for various scenes.
- Hands-on experience shooting video across formats such as short films, podcasts, UGC content, and music videos.
- Basic understanding of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in Chirwa, collaborate with creative teams, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, solid time management skills, and the ability to work under production deadlines.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field is preferred.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work is highly beneficial.
