Role Description The Video Editor role at Hemam Social Media Agency is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Video

Editor is responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos optimized for social media and digital platforms. Day-to-day tasks include assembling clips, adding transitions, audio, and visual effects, performing basic color correction, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role also involves collaborating with content creators, designers, and social media managers, following creative briefs, and meeting deadlines for multiple projects.

The Video

Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, stay updated on editing trends,



and contribute creative ideas to improve overall video quality and audience engagement. Experience-Minimum of 2 years of proved experience in viral reels edititng Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and basic understanding of end-to-end video workflows.

Candidates should possess strong Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, and adding sound and visual effects.

Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone.

Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple animations.

Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.

Robust visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of social media video formats and best practices are preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is required.

A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in video editing, is an advantage.
