About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with hands-on experience in editing documentaries, political campaigns, election content, interviews, speeches, or similar storytelling formats . The ideal candidate should understand narrative-driven editing and be capable of transforming raw footage into compelling visual stories that engage audiences across digital and broadcast platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit documentaries, political campaign films, interviews, speeches, and short-form storytelling videos.
- Develop compelling narratives through pacing, sequencing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Synchronize footage with music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- Perform basic color correction, grading, audio balancing, and motion graphics integration.
- Collaborate closely with directors, content strategists,



and cinematographers to achieve the desired creative vision.
- Edit content for multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and television.
- Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality edits within deadlines.
- Organize footage, maintain project files, and ensure proper backup of assets.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1 year of professional experience editing documentaries, political films, election campaigns, or similar long-form storytelling projects.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro .
- Working knowledge of After Effects , Adobe Audition , and DaVinci Resolve is preferred.
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and emotional editing.
- Experience working with multicam footage, interviews, and event coverage.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with political leaders, public figures, NGOs, media agencies, or production houses.
- Understanding of election campaigns, public communication, and documentary filmmaking.
- Basic knowledge of cinematography and camera workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage.
