POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Deal Management is a pivotal role within the Client Coverage function, primarily focused on managing and optimizing client deals to drive business growth. This position is integral to
BNY's commitment to client excellence, ensuring that deals are structured and executed in alignment with the organization's strategic pillars and principles.
By leveraging expertise in deal management, this role contributes to the enhancement of client relationships and the expansion of business opportunities,
aligning with BNY's goals of innovation and operational excellence. PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead Deal Structuring and Execution: Ensure all deals are structured to maximize value for both clients and the organization by demonstrating expertise in deal management processes.
- Optimize Client
Relationships: Foster strong, lasting relationships with clients, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty through strategic deal negotiations and management. -
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for new deals, staying ahead of industry trends and client needs. -
Collaboration and Coordination: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client satisfaction.
- Risk
Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with deals to protect BNY's interests and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strategic
Contribution: Contribute to strategic initiatives that drive business growth and enhance BNY's market position by capitalizing on deal management opportunities. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in Business,
Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in finance or related disciplines preferred. EXPERIENCE:
Typically 5-8 years of experience. SKILLS: - Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships and deal processes.
- Analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed market analysis and risk assessments.
