Role Description The Paravet role at VetXplore Growth Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Paravet will assist veterinarians in providing clinical support, including handling animals safely, preparing examination rooms, and supporting basic diagnostic procedures.

Daily responsibilities include administering prescribed treatments under supervision, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a clean and hygienic workplace for animals and staff. The role also involves educating pet guardians on routine care, vaccination schedules, and post-treatment instructions,



while coordinating with the veterinary team to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Paravet will work closely with partner clinics and hospitals to uphold high standards of animal care and client service.

Qualifications

- Strong animal handling and care skills, including restraint techniques, basic nursing, and familiarity with small animal behavior.
- Foundational clinical support skills such as assisting in examinations, sample collection, and basic diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to follow veterinary treatment protocols, administer medications as directed, and monitor animals for changes in condition.
- Good record-keeping and documentation skills, including updating medical records and managing appointment-related information.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with veterinarians, clinic staff, and pet guardians in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Understanding of infection control, clinic hygiene standards, and safe use of equipment and supplies.
- Relevant diploma or certification in veterinary assistant, paravet, veterinary nursing, or a related field; prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, with strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare.
