Job Title :- US Payroll Executive

JD:-

1. Payroll Processing

- Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for US employees.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
- Validate employee timesheets and payroll input data before processing.

2. Payroll Compliance

- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Calculate and withhold appropriate payroll taxes (Federal, State, Social Security, Medicare, etc.).
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and labor compliance requirements.

3. Employee Data Management

- Maintain employee payroll records and update changes related to salary, tax forms, direct deposit, benefits, and deductions.
- Process new hires, terminations, salary revisions, promotions, and employee transfers.

4. Tax Statutory Compliance

- Support payroll tax filings and year-end activities such as W-2 preparation.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors or tax agencies for tax-related issues.
- Ensure timely payment of payroll taxes and statutory deductions.

5. Perks Deductions Administration

- Process employee benefit deductions, including health insurance, retirement plans (401(k)), and other voluntary deductions.
- Reconcile payroll deductions with benefit providers.

6. Payroll Reconciliation

- Reconcile payroll reports with the general ledger.
- Verify payroll registers and resolve discrepancies before payroll finalization.
- Assist in month-end and year-end payroll reconciliations.

7. Employee Support

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks, taxes, deductions, and payroll policies.




- Resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

8. Reporting Documentation

- Generate payroll reports for finance, HR, and management.
- Maintain payroll documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support internal and external payroll audits.

9. System Management

- Work with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, Paycom, or Oracle HCM.
- Perform payroll data validation and system testing for updates or enhancements.

10. Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency.
- Develop and maintain payroll standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of US payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Understanding of FLSA, payroll tax withholding, and wage hour compliance.
- Experience with payroll software (ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian, Paycom, Oracle HCM, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 0-1+ years of experience in US payroll processing.
- Experience with multi-state payroll.
- Knowledge of payroll accounting and reconciliations.
