We are hiring for an immediate start. If you are available in the next two to three weeks, say so at the top of your application.
About Cura
Cura is a travel concierge. It plans, books and looks after your trips, on iOS, Android and WhatsApp.
You tell it where you are going. It builds the trip, books it, and handles it when something breaks at 2am in Bangkok. Every trip ends with a receipt showing exactly how many hours and rupees it saved you, including what Cura earned on the booking.
We are in Bengaluru, pre-seed, and we launch this quarter. The role
Cura drafts every trip before you see it. Your job is to make sure it has taste.
Software can find the flight and fill the form. It cannot tell that a hotel is technically in the right neighbourhood but on the wrong side of it, or that a member who asks for somewhere quiet means something specific. That judgement is the difference between a competent itinerary and one someone remembers, and it is what you are here for.
Then you make it real. You book it, you hold it together, and you fix it when it breaks.
No cold calling. No packages. No sales target. What you will do
- Review before it goes out. Every itinerary Cura drafts passes your eye first. You catch the wrong hotel, the connection that is too tight, and the thing that will annoy someone on day three
- Execute the booking.
Across
Tripjack, TBO, RateHawk and direct hotel contacts. PNRs, vouchers, payment, documentation
- Handle it when it breaks. Cancellations, reroutes, refunds chased across three suppliers until the money lands. This is the part members remember
- Add what software cannot. One genuine insider fact per trip. The counter seats worth having, the entrance without a queue, the month the sunset moves
- Teach the system your taste. What you accept,
reject and rewrite is how Cura gets better. The advisor who corrects it well makes every future trip better
- Own the relationship. Every member gets a named advisor. They will know yours What makes this different A traditional travel expert spends eight to ten hours on an itinerary and caps out around forty trips a month. Intake, first drafts, confirmations and paperwork are most of that time.
Cura does those. Your time goes to judgement, execution and rescue, and nothing else. We are building toward roughly half an hour of advisor time per completed trip, and you will help us find out what that number really is.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 4 years in outbound leisure travel
- You have issued international tickets and handled a live cancellation with a passenger already at the airport
- Comfortable in consolidator portals such as Tripjack, TBO or RateHawk, or a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo
- Robust on hotel led international leisure.
Southeast
Asia, Europe, the Gulf, Japan
- Taste, and the confidence to use it. You are opinionated about places and willing to tell a member something is overrated
- You write clean, calm English. Most of this job is written, and the writing is the product
- Experience at a large OTA or TMC is a plus. MakeMyTrip, Yatra, Cleartrip, Thomas Cook, EaseMyTrip, Veena World, TravClan or similar. If you have been a Holiday Expert, Travel Consultant or Destination Specialist, lead with it What we are not looking for
- Anyone who wants a script
- Anyone who thinks software is going to take this job. It is going to take the paperwork, which is why the job gets better
- Anyone uncomfortable being named to a member and reachable when their trip goes wrong How to apply
Tell us about the worst travel disruption you personally fixed, and what you did. One paragraph. Tell us your earliest start date.
