Role Description The Transport Manager role at Volercars is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The person in this role oversees daily transport operations, including scheduling, routing, and deployment of vehicles to meet client service level agreements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with drivers and location teams, monitoring fleet utilization, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and resolving operational issues promptly.

The Transport

Manager works closely with client representatives and internal stakeholders to handle queries, manage escalations,



and maintain high customer satisfaction. The role also involves tracking key performance metrics, optimizing costs, supporting implementation of process improvements, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting for transport activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including planning, process coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Transportation Management capabilities, such as route planning, scheduling, and adherence to regulatory and safety norms.
- Candidates should possess Fleet Management skills, including vehicle allocation, utilization tracking, maintenance coordination, and driver oversight.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to handle client interactions, address queries, manage escalations, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, business management, or a related field; experience in corporate transport or logistics; proficiency with MS Excel and transport management software; robust problem-solving abilities; and willingness to work in rotational shifts or extended hours when required.
