About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer with strong knowledge of home furnishing products and an understanding of current international design trends.

The ideal candidate should have experience developing designs for products such as cushions, rugs, throws, table linen, upholstery, runners, ottomans, poufs, and other home décor products. The candidate will be responsible for creating commercially viable designs from concept to final production while maintaining the required quality, aesthetics, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop current and innovative textile designs and home furnishing collections based on market trends, customer requirements, and seasonal collections.
- Create print, embroidery, woven, tufted, appliqué, and mixed-technique designs for home furnishing products.
- Develop CADs, repeats, motifs, placements, colourways, and technical design sheets for production.
- Research international home decor trends, colours, patterns, materials, textures, and techniques.
- Create coordinated collections and product stories across cushions, rugs, throws, runners, upholstery, and other home decor products.
- Work on colour development and colour combinations suitable for export and international markets.
- Coordinate closely with the sampling, merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to ensure designs are developed correctly.




- Review samples and provide feedback on colour, scale, placement, embroidery, texture, construction, and overall appearance.
- Make design modifications based on sample feedback and customer requirements.
- Maintain organized design libraries, trend boards, colour palettes, artwork files, and product specifications.
- Stay updated with global home furnishing and interior decor trends, particularly trends relevant to the US, UK, European, and Australian markets.
- Assist in developing seasonal collections such as Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.

- Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in export-oriented home furnishing companies, buying houses, textile manufacturers, or home décor brands will be preferred.

Experience working with international customers and export markets will be an added advantage.
