— Three to five years in technical sales, sales engineering or application/pre-sales engineering — preferably touching industrial automation, MES/MOM, SCADA, IIoT or industrial software.

— A working feel for how a plant runs: unit operations, process versus discrete, control system architecture,

instrumentation, and how performance is actually measured on the floor.

— Evidence that you have run a sales cycle and closed it — not only supported someone else's close.

— Fluency in front of engineers and in front of senior management; solid written English for proposals and customer correspondence.

— Readiness to travel extensively to customer plants; valid passport for occasional international travel.

W H A T W I L L S E T Y O U A P A R T

— Selling or implementing MES, OEE, historian, CMMS, condition monitoring or predictive maintenance solutions.

— Domain exposure to chemicals, pharma, specialty chemicals, automotive, tyre, cement, metals or FMCG.





— Conceptual familiarity with ISA-95, OPC UA / Modbus and other industrial protocols, or MES–ERP (SAP)

integration.

— Experience with SaaS/subscription or licence-plus-AMC commercial models.

— An MBA in Sales or Marketing — a plus, though never a substitute for domain depth.

— Hands-on use of a CRM such as Zoho, HubSpot or Salesforce.
