ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the execution of AnduraX's reusable re-entry vehicle development program. You will ensure that multidisciplinary engineering teams remain aligned with technical, financial, and schedule objectives while enabling rapid and effective decision-making across the organization. Working closely with the Founders, Systems Engineering, GNC, Avionics, Structures, Propulsion, Flight Software, Manufacturing, Testing, and Business teams, you will own program planning, milestone tracking, risk management, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
You will ensure that technical progress translates into successful demonstrations and program deliverables.
This role demands exceptional organizational skills, technical understanding, leadership, and the ability to manage complex engineering programs in a fast-paced startup environment.
This role combines office-based program management with laboratory, workshop, integration, supplier, and field-test activities. Candidates should be comfortable coordinating engineering activities across design offices, manufacturing facilities, and flight-test locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Program Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain the overall program execution plan for the reusable re-entry vehicle.
Break down long-term company objectives into measurable engineering milestones.
Develop detailed schedules covering design, procurement, manufacturing, testing, integration, and flight demonstrations.
Track project progress and ensure timely execution of technical deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure milestones are achieved within schedule and budget.
Support strategic planning for future demonstration and orbital missions.

Post Flight Review (PFR) Prepare management reports, engineering dashboards, and program status updates.
Provide regular progress reports to founders, advisors, customers, investors, and government stakeholders.

Coordination
Support planning and execution of hardware integration campaigns.
Coordinate logistics for testing, transportation, launches, and recovery operations.
Ensure readiness of facilities, personnel, equipment, and documentation.
Support flight operations and post-flight review activities.
Coordinate lessons learned and implementation of corrective actions. Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with engineering, business development, operations, suppliers, customers, and external partners.
Mentor junior associates and interns.
Facilitate technical discussions between multidisciplinary teams.
Support recruitment and resource planning.
Drive program management best practices throughout the organization.
Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.
5+ years of experience managing complex engineering programs in aerospace, defence, automotive, robotics, UAVs, or other high-technology industries. Strong understanding of:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment where responsibilities evolve with program needs.
Comfortable working across multiple engineering disciplines and contributing beyond a narrowly defined role.
Willingness to travel for flight tests, supplier visits, customer meetings, government reviews, conferences, and technical demonstrations as required.
Ability to work outdoors during integration campaigns, launch operations, and recovery activities under varying weather conditions.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and working for extended periods during hardware integration and testing activities.
Ability to safely lift and carry engineering equipment and hardware weighing up to 20 kg, with appropriate assistance when required.
Willingness to occasionally work outside regular business hours during integration campaigns, flight tests, critical milestones, or mission operations.
Strong commitment to documentation, configuration control, schedule discipline, and maintaining high-quality program records.
Ability to obtain and maintain any security clearances or background verifications required for defence, strategic, or government-sponsored projects (subject to applicable regulations).
Demonstrate a strong safety-first mindset and adherence to laboratory, workshop, propulsion, and flight-test safety procedures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Self-driven, proactive, and capable of independently driving complex technical programs from concept through demonstration.
Close attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
