Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Technical Lead with extensive experience in delivering enterprise applications within an IT services environment. The candidate should possess strong technical leadership skills, hands-on development expertise, and experience managing teams delivering fixed-cost engagements. Candidates with banking and financial services experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and development of Python-based enterprise solutions.

Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle.

Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.

Review code, enforce development standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Prepare technical estimates, project plans, and solution approaches for fixed-price projects.

Guide development teams in resolving complex technical challenges.

Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and Project Managers for successful project delivery.

Mentor engineers and support capability building within the organization.

Ensure adherence to security, performance, and coding best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Essential skills





Strong expertise in Python.

Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Knowledge of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality tools.

Banking or Financial Services project experience is highly preferred.
