About the RoleTexas Instruments is looking for a Senior ESD Design Specialist to join our Advanced Technology Development team in Bangalore, India — one of the most respected semiconductor R&D; organizations in the world.You'll be embedded within TI's elite ESD Team, working hands-on with an industry-leading analog portfolio spanning precision analog, power management, imaging, audio, high-speed converters, and interface applications . This isn't a siloed role — you'll collaborate across Process Engineering, Packaging, Testing, Reliability, and Manufacturing, making a measurable impact at every stage.If you're a sharp, self-directed engineer who thrives on solving complex ESD challenges and wants a career where deep technical excellence is genuinely valued — read on.️ Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement ESD protection structures for a diverse analog product portfolioLead and conduct ESD design reviews ; troubleshoot failures during internal and customer qualification cyclesDrive the design and development of ESD test structures for advanced technology assessmentsMaintain and evolve ESD protection libraries and design guideline documentation used by TI engineers and I/O cell developers globallyContinuously improve ESD protection effectiveness and area efficiency — raising the bar on what's possible✅ Required SkillsPh.D. in Electrical Engineering (3+ years ESD experience) or M.S. in Electrical Engineering (5+ years ESD experience)Deep expertise in analog and digital circuit operationStrong command of high-current device physics — diodes, resistors, BJTs, SCRs,
