Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. The advisor will counsel students and families on suitable countries, universities, and programs aligned with academic background, budget, and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, explaining admission processes and entry requirements, guiding students through documentation, application forms, and timelines, and coordinating with internal teams on admissions and visa processing.

The role involves providing clear information on visa procedures, scholarships, and financial options, tracking application progress, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.



The advisor will also participate in seminars, information sessions, and outreach activities, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and support students with pre-departure and post-arrival guidance to ensure a smooth study abroad journey.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid Educational Consulting and Consulting skills to guide students through program selection, admissions, and career pathways.

Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to conduct counseling sessions, explain complex processes clearly, and build trust with students and families.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Visas and related documentation processes to support students with application requirements and compliance.

Candidates should ideally have experience in study abroad counseling, international education, or related fields, with familiarity with European and UK education systems.

Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple student cases simultaneously.

Candidates should be comfortable working in an on-site, client-facing environment and using basic computer applications and CRM or student management tools.

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in education, counseling, business, or related areas, is beneficial; proficiency in English and local languages is an advantage.
