Role Description The Student Counselor is a full time, on-site role based in the Bharuch district. The counselor will provide one-on-one and group guidance to students on academic planning, exam preparation, and personal development, ensuring they can effectively use Avanti’s learning resources.

Responsibilities include conducting regular counseling sessions, supporting career exploration, and helping students set realistic academic and career goals. The role involves collaborating with teachers, school administrators,



and families to monitor student progress and address learning or motivational challenges. The counselor will also maintain accurate records, collect feedback on student needs, and contribute to enrichment workshops or sessions that enhance students’ confidence and readiness for future pathways.

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work on-site in Bharuch district, manage multiple cases, and maintain accurate documentation.

Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with Indian school and exam systems (e.g., IIT JEE, NEET) are an advantage.
