Role Description The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in Pranodha Healthcare’s rehabilitation and post-hospital care setting. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru includes conducting patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments as per physician orders, and supporting recovery and rehabilitation plans.
The Staff
Nurse will provide wound care, manage medical equipment, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve educating patients and families on care plans, collaborating closely with doctors, therapists, and caregivers,
and responding to emergency situations with calm and professional judgment. The role requires a compassionate approach, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a home and center-based workplace.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong clinical nursing skills, including tracheostomy care, catheter care, dressing, ryle's tube insertion, patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs.
- Candidates should possess skills in care planning and coordination, including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and effective communication with patients and families.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical protocols, and following safety and infection control standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in emergency response, critical thinking, and sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing, or equivalent) and valid nursing registration with relevant council.
- Previous experience of 2+ years in rehabilitation, post-ICU care, home healthcare, or medical-surgical nursing is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts, provide 24/7 patient support as needed, and adapt to home-based and center-based care environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
