Staff/Chief Scientist - Urea Granulation

Granulation Expert is expected to Initiate, Propose and Execute research and development, Debottlenecking/Revamp, and new product development programs directed towards the improvement of processes and introduction of recent products. Lead in-house new process technology development, scale-up & implementations in commercial granulation. Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed.

Provide trouble-shooting & root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is also expected to provide support in Growth Projects

Responsibilities:

- Provide trouble-shooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants
- Steering various new post-reactor product developments through Granulation Techniques
- Participate in in-house new process technology development,



scale-up & implementations in commercial plants
- Effectively Engage and Lead Feasibility studies & Revamp studies and support to run the granulators effectively at plant scale and at semi-commercial scales

- Independently Review Engineering Documents & Steer
- Design and supervise pilot plant experimental runs for the assigned tasks including preliminary reviews, data interpretation and final reporting
- Collect and interpret plant process data and make recommendations for improvements and ensure work is standardized and processes are optimized.

Must-Haves:

- A Master's degree from a recognized and approved program, Ph.D. is preferred
- 15+ years experience as a Scientist/Engineer specializing in Technology Development, Plant Support, Modeling and Optimization (10+ years if they have a PhD)
- Urea Granulation experience
