Engineer/Back Office role at GMP MachPro is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves supporting the sales process by preparing technical and commercial proposals, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with clients and internal teams. The Sr.

Sales

Engineer/Back Office professional will review technical specifications, recommend suitable machinery solutions, and assist in product demonstrations and presentations. Daily tasks include managing customer communication, maintaining sales documentation, tracking orders,



and providing post-sales technical support in coordination with service teams. The role also includes contributing to sales reports, supporting marketing activities related to machinery solutions, and ensuring a smooth experience for customers from initial contact through delivery.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid Sales Engineering skills, including understanding machinery technologies and matching solutions to client requirements.

Candidates should possess core Sales skills, such as lead follow-up, proposal preparation, and coordination of the sales cycle.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal technical teams, and management.

Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and relationship management.

Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to assist in resolving basic technical queries and support pre- and post-sales activities.

Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience in machinery or pharmaceutical equipment are beneficial.

Experience in industrial machinery, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, or process engineering is an advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are preferred.
