Roles and responsibilities

1. Plan/schedule the trials.
2. Literature search for process/product based on the project.
3. Knowledge about the membrane and chromatography technology.
4. Making trial data sheet, summary of conducted trial and also preparing the report as per the data generated.
5. Preparing the SOP s and cleaning protocol of the systems in use.
6. Manage the facility resources, systems, etc. and follow up from the purchase/stores as per the lab requirement.
7. Preparing the dispatch notes for the material/sample movement in/out of the lab.
8. Safety activities of the lab.
9. System/Instrument calibrations scheduling.
10. Scheduling monthly/yearly preventive maintenance activities.
11. Stock checking wrt chemicals, glass/plastic wares, etc.
12. Maintaining the chemical consumption/ membrane stock/usage data sheet.
13. Technical support to the sales team wrt the process trial, discussion with customers.
14. Technical support to the design team for skid based system building.
15. Giving basic training to the lab assistant
16. Literature search for the process/product.
17. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of methods, cost and results.
18. Participate in trial offer making.
19. Promote positive relations with customer.

Prepare process development costing.
21. CAPEX and OPEX calculations of the process trial and making comparison of the same.
22. Material balance calculation of the analysis.
23. Understanding and the Interpretation of the analysis received from the customer.
24. Discussion or brain storming on critical case studies of ongoing projects with the internal teams.
25. Properly maintaining all work related documents/record keeping.
26. Monitoring the lab cleaning activities.
