About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Manager – Insurance (Non-Motor) to manage end-to-end insurance broking activities for corporate and SME clients across Non-Motor insurance products.

The role will involve understanding client requirements, sourcing and negotiating quotations with insurers, policy placement, renewals, claims coordination, client servicing and ensuring compliance with IRDAI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, SME and institutional clients and understand their insurance requirements.
- Handle Non-Motor insurance products including:
- Fire
- Marine
- Engineering
- Liability
- Property
- Employee Benefits – GMC, GPA, GTL
- Cyber
- Professional Indemnity
- D&O;
- Other Commercial Lines

- Generate new business through referrals, networking, existing client relationships and corporate leads.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, underwriting requirements, risk inspections and policy placement.
- Prepare quotation comparisons, coverage analysis and insurance proposals.
- Explain policy features, coverage, exclusions, deductibles, warranties, premium options and policy terms to clients.
- Negotiate with insurers for competitive pricing and coverage.
- Ensure timely policy issuance, endorsements, renewals and premium collections.




- Provide post-sales support including documentation, policy servicing and claims coordination.
- Coordinate with insurers, surveyors and other stakeholders throughout the claims process until closure.
- Maintain client records, policy documentation and MIS reports covering business, renewals, claims and servicing.
- Achieve assigned premium, revenue and renewal targets.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, company SOPs and Broker Code of Conduct.
- Stay updated on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, regulatory changes and market trends.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Non-Motor / Commercial Insurance products.
- Good understanding of underwriting, risk assessment and insurance placement.
- Robust client relationship management, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and renewal schedules.
- Good documentation and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM applications and insurance company portals.
- Target-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Valid IRDAI Broker Qualified Person (BQP) certification – Mandatory.
- 10+ years of experience in Non-Motor Insurance Broking or General Insurance.
- Experience handling corporate Non-Motor insurance products and client servicing.
- Experience in quotation management, policy placement, renewals and claims coordination preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve business and renewal targets.
