Part-Time Graphic Designer — Printables & Digital Products

Commitment: 20–25 hours/week

We are building a growing printable planning and productivity brand and are looking for an experienced graphic designer who can help us elevate the visual quality of our products and develop a consistent, skilled design style.

Our products include printable planners, calendars, trackers, worksheets, productivity resources and digital product bundles sold and distributed through our own website and marketplaces such as Etsy and Gumroad.

A key part of this role will also be helping us improve how our digital products are presented and positioned visually on Etsy, including high-quality listing images, product mockups and promotional graphics that can compete effectively in the marketplace.

This is not primarily a social-media design role. We are looking for someone particularly strong in layout, typography, visual hierarchy and thoughtful functional design.

What you'll work on

- Develop original visual concepts for printable products
- Create master planner and worksheet layouts
- Improve typography, spacing and visual hierarchy
- Develop coordinated printable collections
- Establish reusable design systems and guidelines
- Review and improve our existing designs
- Create professional Etsy listing images
- Develop clean, realistic product mockups and product presentations
- Communicate product features and benefits visually through listing graphics




- Help establish a consistent visual style across our Etsy product listings
- Help us develop a recognizable visual identity across our products

What we're looking for

Strong understanding of

- Typography
- Editorial/layout design
- Grid and spacing systems
- Visual hierarchy
- Color and composition
- Functional/user-friendly design
- Brand consistency
- Digital product presentation and mockups
- E-commerce / marketplace listing design

Experience designing workbooks, journals, stationery, planners, reports, publications, editorial layouts or similar products would be particularly valuable.

Previous experience creating Etsy listing images or marketing graphics for digital products would be a strong advantage.

Tools

Our current printable production workflow is primarily Canva-based, so strong Canva skills and willingness to work within our existing workflow are important.

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity Designer/Publisher or similar professional design software is an advantage, particularly for developing original visual assets and advanced layouts.

Most important

We're not looking for someone who simply makes designs look decorative.

We're looking for a designer who can take a functional printable and make it feel thoughtful, polished, distinctive and commercially competitive, while keeping it practical and easy to use.
