Role Description The Sr. Advocate (Real Estate) Redevelopment is a full-time, in office role based in Pune, responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of redevelopment and real estate transactions. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating redevelopment agreements, title documents, conveyance deeds, and other property-related contracts; coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary; and ensuring all documentation complies with applicable laws and regulations.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting legal due diligence on properties, managing approvals and interactions with regulatory and statutory bodies, and advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies. The Sr. Advocate will work closely with project,



planning, and finance teams to align legal frameworks with business objectives, support dispute resolution when required, and maintain organized legal records and tracking systems for multiple ongoing projects.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in real estate law, including redevelopment regulations, RERA, land acquisition, and municipal and urban development laws.

Demonstrated experience in drafting, vetting, and negotiating property-related agreements, MoUs, conveyance deeds, and title documents for residential projects.

Proficiency in conducting legal due diligence, title verification, encumbrance checks, and compliance reviews for large-scale real estate developments.

Proven ability to manage interactions with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and statutory agencies for approvals, registrations, and dispute resolution.

Excellent analytical, research, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-legal colleagues and partners.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. or specialized qualifications in real estate or corporate law are an advantage.

Prior experience in a senior legal role within real estate development, redevelopment, or allied sectors in Pune or similar urban markets.
