Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise in SQL programming, relational databases, and data transformation processes, with a strong foundation in data modeling, query optimization, and processing of both structured and unstructured data.

Experience with Python programming is a plus. This role will also play a pivotal part in expanding our data management capabilities to incorporate automation and intelligence across our database workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust database solutions and data transformation systems using advanced SQL techniques.

Transform and process large datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity, quality, and consistency.

Optimize and build efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation; manage and interact with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver innovative database solutions.

Implement data models and structures to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting initiatives.

Leverage advanced SQL programming techniques and tools (e.g., stored procedures, triggers, indexing, partitioning) to solve complex data challenges.

Architect and implement automated solutions to enhance database intelligence and support next-generation analytics.

Work with AWS cloud services related to database management (AWS RDS, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.).

Stay abreast of emerging trends in database technologies and proactively recommend improvements.

Integrate real-time data streaming solutions (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) into database workflows.

(Positive to have) Utilize Python scripting for automation, data transformation, or integration with databases.

SQL Programming Language

Level: Advanced

Key Concepts: Query Optimization, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Indexing, Partitioning, Window Functions, Error Handling, Transaction Management, and best practices for scalable database code.

Tools: SQL Server Management Studio, pgAdmin, Oracle SQL Developer, etc.

Data Modelling and Data Transformation:

Level: Advanced

Key Areas: ETL, processing structured and unstructured data, data quality, and integrity.

Relational Databases

Level: Advanced

Key Areas: Query Optimization, Query Building, Experience with ORMs (optional), Exposure to databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.

Python Programming (Good to Have):

Experience with Python scripting for data transformation, automation, or integration with SQL databases is a plus.

Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, SQLAlchemy, or similar is advantageous.

Automation

Exposure to or interest in database automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or similar).

Experience integrating automation scripts into database workflows is a plus.

Cloud Technologies

Good experience with AWS database services (RDS, Athena, S3, Lambda, etc.).

Real-Time Streaming:

Experience with real-time data streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.) is a plus.

Programming Paradigms

Functional and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS): Intermediate (for scripting and automation tasks)

Problem Solving

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for feature development and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.

Experience with Python programming is a plus.

Experience with database automation frameworks is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
