Role Description The Spanish Mentor will deliver engaging, online Spanish lessons to school-age learners, focusing on vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and conversational skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lesson content, conducting live virtual sessions, assigning and reviewing practice work, and providing constructive feedback to students and families on progress.

The role also involves adapting teaching methods to different learning styles, maintaining consistent communication, and using digital tools to enhance learner engagement. This is a full-time, remote role that requires reliable availability,



professional conduct in an online setting, and collaboration with the EdifyChamps team to uphold instructional standards.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Spanish (spoken and written), with the ability to explain grammar and vocabulary clearly.
- Experience in online tutoring, teaching, or mentoring children or adolescents in language learning.
- Skill in using virtual classroom platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital resources for instruction.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills in a remote learning environment.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, track student progress, and adjust teaching strategies to individual needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in language teaching are a plus.
