Role Description This full-time remote Software Tester role focuses on ensuring the reliability, quality, and performance of TickoraDesk’s customer support platform.

The Software

Tester will design, document, and execute test cases across web and related applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing. Daily responsibilities include validating new features, identifying and documenting defects, reproducing issues, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to refine requirements and improve usability. The role also involves contributing to test plans, tracking quality metrics,



and participating in continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

The Software

Tester will help maintain a high standard of user experience by proactively analyzing system behavior and suggesting enhancements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with experience applying structured test methodologies.

Candidates should possess hands-on Test Execution skills, including the ability to run manual and, ideally, automated tests across different environments.

Candidates should possess the ability to design, maintain, and optimize clear and comprehensive Test Cases aligned with product requirements.

Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to investigate issues, interpret test results, and communicate findings in a precise, actionable manner.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Familiarity with issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira or similar) and basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.

Experience testing SaaS or customer support platforms, and exposure to automation frameworks or scripting, is a plus.
