Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer role is a full-time remote position responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and usability of AICines.ai’s platform and related services. In this role, you will design and execute test plans and test cases, perform manual testing across web and backend components, and validate new features, bug fixes, and integrations before release. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and UX teams to understand requirements, identify defects, and support continuous improvement of quality standards.

Daily activities include documenting test results, managing defects,



contributing to test strategies and regression suites, and helping optimize testing processes for a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance skills, with a focus on maintaining high reliability and performance standards.

Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Test Management skills for planning, organizing, and tracking testing efforts across releases.

Candidates should possess hands-on Manual Testing skills, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

Experience with test case management tools, issue tracking systems, and documentation of test artifacts.

Familiarity with web applications, APIs, and cloud-based platforms; basic understanding of automation concepts is a plus.

Robust analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to identify root causes of defects.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Prior experience in a startup, media/entertainment, or AI-driven product environment is beneficial.
