About The Role We are currently hiring for a talented Software Engineer to join our client, Pike Automation, a reputed organization specializing in industrial automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#/.NET development and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting Level 2 automation systems within industrial and manufacturing environments. This role offers an exciting chance to work on enterprise-grade applications that enhance process monitoring, production tracking, and data integration across complex industrial setups.

Candidates with a minimum of one year of relevant experience, particularly those familiar with industrial or manufacturing domains, are encouraged to apply. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, onsite deployment, and continuous system improvements to ensure optimal plant operations.

Qualifications B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related engineering disciplines.

Minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in software development using C# and the .NET framework or .NET Core.

Proficiency in building and supporting enterprise applications using ASP.NET, Windows Services, and REST APIs.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers,



and designing database schemas.

Hands-on experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance.

Ability to independently understand, write, and explain production-level code.

Experience working in client-facing environments with excellent communication skills.

Exposure to industrial automation systems, including Level 2 systems, SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP integrations, is highly preferred.

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and APIs for system integration.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Level 2 Automation Systems tailored for industrial and manufacturing plants to improve operational efficiency.

Create applications for process monitoring, production tracking, reporting, alarm management, data logging, and process optimization to support manufacturing workflows.

Develop robust enterprise applications utilizing C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET, Windows Services, and REST APIs to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.

Build communication interfaces between industrial devices and systems such as PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, and Laboratory Systems, ensuring reliable data exchange.

Design and manage databases using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and maintaining database schemas.

Develop modules for real-time data acquisition, processing, and integration to facilitate smooth plant operations and decision-making.

Participate in system architecture discussions to contribute to scalable, high-performance automation solutions.

Conduct thorough testing, debugging, troubleshooting,



and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Support onsite commissioning, deployment, system integration, and production stabilization activities at customer locations.

Collaborate effectively with automation engineers, plant teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Integrate third-party industrial systems and devices using established industrial communication protocols and APIs.

Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals to facilitate seamless system adoption and maintenance.

Provide post-implementation support, monitor system performance, and recommend continuous improvements for enhanced productivity.

Adhere to coding standards, software quality practices, and project timelines to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
