Spark Labs is a global Digital Marketing and Analytics firm, helping brands and agencies grow their e-commerce business. We work closely with our clients to analyze and optimize their search engine marketing and promote their brand across platforms like Amazon and other ecommerce marketplaces. We are a preferred partner of several Amazon agencies in US and other Global markets.

Job Location: Fully Remote, but based in India

Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension or even long-term engagement

Working hours

: Adaptable full time but need half day overlap with pacific time zone

As a Software Engineer for Spark Labs, you will be responsible for working on various front end and some back end projects. You will work with our clients to understand the goals, challenges, and opportunities of each project.

Qualifications and Requirements

Frontend Requirements

- Vue.js 2.6 with Vuex 3 (state management) and vue-router 3 — candidates should have solid experience with the Vue 2 Options API specifically
- Vue CLI / Webpack 4 build tooling — this is a legacy build chain requiring Node compatibility flags to run on current Node versions
- Experience integrating third-party UI libraries: Bootstrap 4,



CKEditor 4, and embedded Tableau visualizations for reporting dashboards
- Playwright for end-to-end test authoring and maintenance (no unit testing framework is currently in place)

Backend / Cloud Requirements
- While this repository contains no backend code, the contractor will need working knowledge of the backend platform it integrates with in order to build and debug full features:
- AWS Lambda and API Gateway — the application's business logic and data layer are implemented as serverless functions accessed via API Gateway endpoints
- AWS Cognito — user authentication and authorization are handled through Cognito; role-based access control is derived from Cognito group membership encoded in JWTs
- General familiarity with AWS serverless architecture and multi-environment API deployments (staging/production stages)

Nice to have: Domain Knowledge The application supports Amazon marketplace/advertising operations, including DSP tactics and tag management, ASIN-level profitability calculations (surcharges, fees, inventory metrics), and vendor product alerting workflows.
